LIBRARY LEGENDS
Library Legends is an exciting reading initiative created by JFK Elementary’s librarian, Ms. Rita “Book” Saenz, to encourage students to develop strong reading habits and engage with their school library. The concept is simple:
- Check Out. Return. Win!
- Every time a student checks out or returns a book, they earn an entry into a weekly raffle.
- Fun Rewards:
- Winners receive prizes like a free ice cream treat, making reading both enjoyable and rewarding.
This initiative transforms the library into a vibrant space for learning and enjoyment, motivating students to become lifelong readers while celebrating their efforts in a creative way.
